The Pantah desk was inspired by the Ducati motorcycles of the late seventies and early eighties. These motorcycle frames were engineered to be incredibly strong even though they were only made with small, lightweight steel tubes. It was the geometry of these tubes once welded together that produced such a robust final assembly.

We used that same art of math to produce many of the items in the Mitchell collection. Each one may appear frail but the strength of each carefully welded frame is much stronger than one would imagine. This strength allows the Pantah to support it’s beautifully hand crafted “Curly Maple” wood top. This top has hand inlaid blood wood and canary wood encircling the entire edge, tying in the classic colors of the vintage Italian machines they mimic.
Each desk has the handmade stainless steel base, adjustable soft feet and a matching hidden drawer under the top. The wood selection can be any number of custom combined hardwoods so please inquires about customization also.
